Of course, they are big sandwiches to sustain him as he acts/directs/writes/produces. Everyone is very impressed with them. He heard that Hugh (who he hasn't met yet but is such a good friend for Callum these days) calls them manly sandwiches. So Paul is quietly amused and thinking how rock'n'roll he is.
