I'm not convinced he was resisting anything necessarily. We still don't know why they were triggered when they jumped to the nebula, or what the agenda of the final five is. I think Tigh's response is no different to Boomer's after she shot Papadama in 1.13 - all WTF? I'm still me!
I have my own theory about why they were triggered then, and why they heard the song, if you're interested?
