I have to watch it again before I can get it straight in my head, I think. There was plenty of WTF, but I was totally expecting that! I wonder if people appreciate how difficult it is to end a story like that at all, let alone to the satisfaction of zillions of people. it required a massive contextual shift in the narrative, and that's always going to give the viewer a bit of whiplash.
