avi splitter?

Vidders, and other people who know stuff: what software do you use to split avi files into little bits? I need something compatible with Mac OS X.

Edit: I mean something that will split it into little clips, not binary files.

D-vision 3 does all sorts of useful things like that. I'm not sure if it does it in exactly the way you are looking for, I mainly use it to join movie uploads that were originally on two discs.

Doesn't HJ-split split avi into binary files? I probably should have been more specific - I want little baby avi clips to make vids out of.

Ah, in that case I'm pretty certain HJ Split can't do that. Sorry, I gots nothin' :/

I use MPEG Streamclip. Definitely Mac compatible and I have used it to cute .avi files many times. :)
